Abilian attended the POSS 2017 event and presented their research and development work in the "Big Data" session. They delivered two presentations, one on business analytics with Python-based tools, specifically focusing on their work in the WENDELIN project. The second presentation was about Python quality engineering and covered the main tools and best practices for software engineering in Python.
Stefane Fermigier, founder and CEO of Abilian, has conducted a survey and study for Systematic on the French Artificial Intelligence (AI) ecosystem, focusing on competitiveness clusters. The study highlights the significant impact of open-source tools on this ecosystem. The results of the study can be found in the provided slides.
Abilian is excited to announce their role as a co-organizer and sponsor of the PyParis conference, which will be held on June 12th and 13th, 2017 at ESILV in Paris La Défense. Their development team will also be in attendance to deepen their understanding of the PyData ecosystem and the advancements of Python technologies in the Web and Cloud. This knowledge will support their activities in Enterprise Information Management (EIM) and Big Data, specifically in their partnership with the Wendelin project.
On 7 and 8 March, Abilian will be providing advanced training for developers already familiar with Python, with a strong 'software engineering' focus.
